Contributions will be applied to the designated fund whenever possible. However, to ensure the greatest Kingdom impact and meet ministry needs as they arise, His Glory reserves the right to direct funds to areas of greatest need in furtherance of its mission.

Understanding the Biblical Tithe

The tithe is a biblical practice of honoring God with the first portion of what He has entrusted to us. If you feel led to tithe, we invite you to prayerfully consider what Scripture teaches about giving this portion to God. Tithing can be a meaningful expression of worship, gratitude, trust and a desire to put God first in our lives.

God promises that if we obey Him in giving our tithe, He will rebuke the devourer for our sakes and bless our finances.

We can give with a willing heart because God is faithful and He is always able to provide for us. When we place our trust in Him, we do not have to give from a place of fear or uncertainty. We can give knowing that our provision ultimately comes from Him and that He is faithful to sustain us.

“The LORD is my shepherd; I lack nothing.”

But the reverse holds true as well: if we fail to give to God the “hallowed portion” of our income, then we are breaking covenant by “robbing God.”

When we fail to tithe, we come under a curse and give the devourer free rein to work havoc and destroy our finances.

While Yeshua has removed from us the curse of the law, He has not removed from us the obligation to follow His example by living a holy life. When we understand that we are walking in sin in some area, we are to repent and return to Him.

By giving our tithe — the holy (kadosh) portion of our income — removing it from our possession, we return to God in so many ways and He returns to us.

“‘Return to Me, and I will return to you,’ says the LORD Almighty. But you ask, ‘How are we to return?’ Will a mere mortal rob God? Yet you rob me. But you ask, ‘How are we robbing you?’ In tithes and offerings. You are under a curse—your whole nation—because you are robbing Me.”
— Malachi 3:7–9

We encourage you to take time to pray, seek the Lord and consider what He is placing on your heart. Give freely and joyfully as an expression of your trust in a God who is faithful to provide, care for you and never leave you.
