Section Five
Before we cast a single ballot, we go to our knees. Join us in lifting up our nation, our leaders, and our families this election season — read the prayer below and download it to share with your family, your small group, and your church.
Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble and reverent hearts, lifting up our nation and the upcoming election. We decree and declare that Your hand will be upon this nation, guiding us in truth and righteousness.
Lord, as the election approaches, we seek a better understanding of the issues and concerns that face our nation, and how the Gospel compels us to respond as faithful citizens in our community. We ask for eyes that are free from blindness and that we can see the issues clearly.
Let the election process be safeguarded with fairness and integrity, free from corruption and deceit. Every vote determines the direction of our nation. We thank You for Your law, which our Founding Fathers acknowledged and recognized as higher than any human law.
We thank You for the opportunity to vote this election year, and to exercise our solemn duty not only to vote, but to influence countless others to vote and to vote correctly. Awaken Your people, that the same hands lifted up to You in prayer are the hands that pull the lever in the voting booth.
As Your people, we do not cease to be Christians and will vote according to biblical principles. We place our hope not in human leaders but in You, the Lamb of God, our Savior and King.
May Your purposes prevail in this election season, and may our nation stand as a beacon of hope, justice, and godly values. Empower us, Your people, to be ambassadors of peace, lifting up Your name and proclaiming Your promises over our land.
We decree and declare that Jesus Christ is Lord over America, and we put our trust in Your purposes for this eagle nation. In the name of Jesus, we stand firm, with hope anchored in the Lamb who is worthy of all honor and praise! Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord. We ask this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ!
